Pure lead ingots
The lead ingot comprise of Battery Breaking, Rotary Furnaces, Blast Furnace, and Refining Pots backed up with material handling equipments viz. Mobile Hydra Crane, EOT Cranes of 3 MT capacity, Fork Lifts etc.
Remelted lead ingots
Remelted Lead Ingots are obtained from process of Battery Scraps in the processing Furnace. The Scrap is obtained and is mixed with other reducing agents in the Furnace.Remelted Lead Ingot is used for making Pure Lead Ingot by Pyrometallurgical process; act as a raw material for various lead processing & manufacturing industries. Pure Lead Ingots has more purity than Remelted Lead Ingots.
Lead Concentrate
Any of several minerals from which Lead is extracted. The primary ore is galena or Lead sulphite PbS. This is unstable, and on prolonged exposure to the atmosphere it oxidizes into the minerals cerussite PbCO3 and anglesite PbSO4. Lead ores are usually associated with other metals, particularly silver which can be mined at the same time – and zinc, which can cause problems during smelting.
Battery Scrap
Battery Scrap categorized as hazardous scrap and very limited scope for Trans – boundary movement. There are certain set of guidelines to be complied in order to regularize the collection and processing of such hazardous scrap. The recycling process of lead acid battery needs to be environmentally sound processing technology.
Battery Plates
Battery Plates shall consist of clean sorted lead/lead oxide battery plates and may not contain foreign materials such as plastic, or glass. The only other material that might be included could be lead connectors.
Mix lead scrap
Lead has the highest rate of recycling of all the metals. Due to its corrosion resistance, lead scrap is available for recycling, decades or even centuries after it is manufactured.
Cable Stripping
Also named as clean soft lead cable stripping scrap, this type of lead scrap is of higher quality than lead scrap soft or mixed. Because the origin of the lead scrap is known lead cable sheathing.
Wheel Weights
Lead Wheel Weights are mainly used in automobiles as correction weight in order to ensure balancing of wheels. It may consist of lead tire balances with or without iron clips. In general, it must not include scrap lead, lugs or plates. Also, it must be free of any foreign material.
